Welcome! Green Mountain Christian Church is the spiritual home to people from many walks and of life. We are believers and questioners, people from a variety of backgrounds, and people with a variety of faith perspectives, who come together to worship God, become more like Jesus, and serve God.
Please browse our website for some of the basic information about our church. We would also love to have you visit to learn more about us. When you are visiting, feel free to speak with our pastor, one of our elders, one of the greeters, or the person sitting next to you, and learn about our life together in worship, service, and fellowship. Our hope is that you would feel warmly welcome at Green Mountain Christian Church, and that you would be drawn closer to our Lord Jesus Christ through our worship.
What can I expect on Sunday morning?
At Green Mountain Christian Church, visitors are always greeted with enthusiasm. We begin to gather just before 9:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings to attend Bible study classes. We have a variety of classes for adults and children of all ages, and you are sure to find a class where you and your family can learn more about the Bible while connecting with other people.
After Bible Study, there is a time of conversation, coffee, and snacks in our comfortable fellowship hall. Worship begins shortly afterwards at 10:45. The service is always a joyful time of singing, giving, and hearing of the word. Our music team enjoys leading us in a mixture of traditional hymns and contemporary songs. The pastor then leads us in a special congregational prayer each week and brings us a message from the Bible. He is truly gifted by the Lord to teach us, and encourage us in our relationship with God and our journey to become more like Christ. Every week, as part of the service, we enjoy a special time where we take communion. Afterwards, we finish our time together with more singing.
Our fellowship of believers loves having new faces on Sunday morning. We would love to have you join us, and hope that you find a home away from home at Green Mountain Christian Church.
