David and Nancy Writebol

David and Nancy are ministering with Serving in Mission (SIM) in Liberia. They have been in Liberia since 2013, and are currently serving at the ELWA Compound.  David is the SIM Liberia Country Director, and is very hands-on with the ELWA Ministries Team in Radio, Education, and Healthcare, daily leading them to serve the community and local churches.  Nancy has recently been appointed as the new SIM Global Coordinator for Trauma Healing through the Trauma Healing Institute. Throughout the year, Trauma Healing groups are led in churches, and are attended by survivors and those affected by wars, Ebola, abuse and various other types of trauma. Nancy has been uniquely qualified by God to serve in this way, and to work in the Ebola Survivor’s Clinic.
